  • Egg white vs. the whole egg! 🍳 this photo shows that there are pros & cons to each ❤️Truth is though you definitely shouldn’t be afraid of the yolk and here are some reasons why it would be beneficial to have a least one yolk in your omelette:

    Egg Whites:
    17 calories per egg white
    0g fat
    3.6g protein
    A leaner source of protein
    A complete amino acid .
    The whole egg:
    70 calories per egg (varies by brand)
    5g fat
    6.3g protein
    Has all of the vitamin A, D, E & K
    Has higher portion of B6. B12 & folic acid
    Contains all the choline crucial for brain development, liver function, etc.

    Overall, the whole egg has more of the nutrients! My favorite weight loss trick is to include 1 to 2 eggs in an omelette or scramble then add 2-3+ egg whites to add more volume!

  • More than a week to f intermittent fasting and my scale did not budge even a bit. I’m feeling very frustrated! I’m working so hard to be vigilant with my diet, but after dropping 10 lbs in January I haven’t lost any this month.     If you like to start the day perfect, try the apple-coconut bowl. 🤤
    Cut two apples in little pieces and heat them with coconut oil, honey and cinnamon in a pan. After heating mix it with 1/2 Cup Coconut milk and Coconut flakes 😍

  • There are so many important people that come in and out of our lives. They make us think new thoughts, not only about the world but of ourselves, and the people around us. They shake the ground that we walk on, create a fissure for light to get in, and shape us in ways that we didn’t know existed.
    Regardless of where we are and where life takes us, these people will always be apart of our lives. We were created by the same colliding clusters of stars, there are parts of you that are parts of them as well, and that’s what keeps pulling you closer, like gravity.
    There are many people I love very much who are thousands of miles away from me. They know I had to make this journey to pursue my dream, and they also know how much I love them without me calling or texting them every day. These people are beacons of light to new destinations, shining a light for us in enigmatic times.
