  • It's been a fun, exciting time here in New Orleans with my tribe and my fellow team members! This company trip has been the best one yet! Feeling refueled and extremely blessed!! 💜

  • With a long week ahead, I am consciously making an effort to focus on my end goals and the things that make me happy. I will list a few for you here.

    . - wubs and bass 🎵 . .
    - yoga and meditation 🧘‍♀️ . .
    - YouTube ▶️ . .
    - Tacos 🌮 . .
    - dancin 💃🏻
    .

    With that being said, although I will be working everyday this week and into next, I want to make it a PRIORITY to wake up earlier and make time for at least one thing that makes me happy everyday. It’s important to take care of yourself and your mental well being, before you do things like work, and study, and adulting. It will in turn, make you more productive and happy to be doing what you must to survive in the meantime. .

    Although the end goal is to do what I love for a living, for now, just making time for these things keeps my spirits high and keeps me motivated to work harder everyday to chase my dreams while still bringing in a steady income for myself. .

  • Throwing back on Tuesday this week lol because oh so many reasons lol
    1) I really need to stretch but don’t want to damage the heating skin on my burn (on my back)
    2) I’m so over winter... over it
    3) I’m overdue for a photo shoot with @vanveitcreative (we haven’t frolicked in a while lol)
    4) the sun is luring me outside but it’s freezing so the sun is a lie lol
    5) and I’m slightly cranky/overtired today so I’m dreaming of this warm spring day
    Anyone else in desperate need of spring?

    ➡️You don’t need to cut out ALL carbs ⁣

    ➡️You don’t need to feel hungry⁣

    ➡️You don’t need to spend a fortune on gym memberships⁣


    Those 6 weeks were HARD....physically and emotionally....and I was only doing 30 minute workouts. I can’t imagine spending hours at the gym! ⁣

    If you commit and show up for yourself every single day...you will get the results you want.⁣

  • Not every day is 🦄 and 🌈. Your car might not start, you drop your makeup bag on the ground and all of your eye shadow shatters, the eggs fall out of the carton on to the sidewalk...I mean...c’mon, all of these things have happened at SOME POINT!! 🤦🏻‍♀️ We are only in control of our actions. What we choose to think about becomes our reality. 🧠🔮 Through all of the shit, inhale. Deeply. Maybe 30 times. Make that choice to respond with kindness and love and gratitude💛 You won’t be perfect at it every single time. No way. But you can try again and again and again. 🤹🏻‍♀️ #gratitude #betteryourself #speakyourtruth #choosetobehappy #choosetobekind #choosetobepositive #brainsaremagic

  • Always move toward the light. My husband and I will soon do this literally, when we move into this vibrant, playful neighborhood in the hub of our little city. ✨✨ Finding ways to make our daily life more fun and interesting is both healthy and contagious!
    Moving toward the light is also a metaphor for seeking to act with higher levels of understanding, acceptance, generosity, wisdom, compassion. If we are going to leave a mark on the world by having been here, I hope it is one that spreads more peace and joy.
