  • In London Town with the biggest minion getting a visa so we can go on our happy holidays in August 🥳 had a brew in Waitrose whilst I was waiting, but unfortunately it’s bring your toddler to shop day, and after a few glasses of fizz last night my brain couldn’t cope with the wails... so I’ve found this very cute little coffee shop that even have very cute coconut protein balls to go with my coffee ♥️ it’s also full of very quiet adults doing very quiet work... winner 👌🏻

  • ⚠️ INAPPROPRIATE HUMOUR ALERT, LOL!!! 😂
This may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but you must admit that this is absolutely so “spit your coffee out in the morning” hilarious! I firmly believe that laughter just helps many of us, and it is one of my “go to” tactics for dealing with immense stress. If it wasn’t for laughter, I do believe that I would go around as if I was walking wounded at times; let’s be honest, primary caregiving life is not a “walk in the park” and it can be really unbelievably hard at times. I would go as far as to say that I just want to spend the rest of my life laughing, as this is what I truly need the most, along with love, of course. Laughter just balances out those other Supermom roller coaster emotions that come with caregiving life, in my humble opinion. I hope you all appreciate the humour here as much as I do! I believe it can help many of us feel better, stronger, and also more content, despite the immense challenges and/or episodes of grief we may encounter. Behind every bit of great humour is an element of raw truth, unspoken pain, or ridiculousness, or awkwardness at the human condition; just perfect for Supermoms! As for my ASD daughter and I, humour and love are 2 of the elements that keep us tightly bonded together and they help push us both through the toughest of times and longest of days, making us realize that we are indeed an effective team together, and that life can still be good. Just my thoughts on this subject, for what it’s worth. 🤗💙🤗 Thank you to the always hilarious @mommysinsidevoice for this. #coffeeisgood #coffeeisgoodforthesoul #crackisbad #goodadvice #humourkeepsusgoing #humourkeepsussane #autismmomsarewarriors #wepersist #laughteristhebestmedicine #ljustwanttospendtherestofmylifelaughing
