  • The Kenda/SRT AMA West Hare Scrambles (WHS) Regional Championship Series, Presented by MojoMotorsport.com, returned to Prescott Valley, Arizona, for round two. Last year, it was one of my favorite races because the area is awesome and the group putting it on did an excellent job. This year, the Field Craft Survival Rough Rider 100, the Arizona Off-road State Championship offered even more prize money, drawing more than a few folks who don’t normally compete in the WHS. While rain, wind and snow made things challenging for everyone involved, I think it contributed to the racing being closer and fiercer than if it had been dry and dusty. In the end, 2017 series champ broke away to win for the first time since round one last year, forcing him to at least consider doing a few more of these, since his contract with @betausa is only for @enduro_cross and #extremeenduro . The money also attracted @slr_honda ‘s Ricky Dietrich, the WORCS regular having a great time battling before ending up second with @joewasson45 third. @zane851roberts won the Pro 250 class convincingly, placing 10th overall. On Saturday, @brandyrichards198 topped the Women Pro race to pick up a fat $1250 from The Rowdy Rose, followed by @shelby50turner and @bgallegos459 . @prestonboespflug_28 came from Washington to try his hand at some off-road racing and ran away with both the Big Wheel and Super Mini Challenge exhibition races. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for next year! @kendapowersports @srtoffroad @mojomotosport #prescottvalley #arizona #snow #wind #rain #cold #mud #chocolatecake #notwhatyouexpectinarizona #nikonphotography #thankstomychauffeur #sxsride #dirtbikes #harescramble
