  • What's more perfect than a cheese board on a rainy Tuesday? 😍🧀 I love pairing my boards with a fruity/tangy jam ✨ @spreadthelove small batch artisanal jams are some of the best I've had ✨ I mean look at the grains, color and texture in this raspberry jam♥️ 😭 it adds the perfect dimensions and taste to your cheese and meat pairings! What is your favorite flavor of jam? 😋 #ad

  • Cold winter days and this #makkimooliparatha (cornmeal bread) is something which i relish alot.It just melts in your mouth and is so easy to make. You can have it with a dollop of white butter or some fresh cream as its generally eaten in Punjab or you can pair it with some curd or pickle whatever way you like.I just spread some desi ghee(clarified butter) only as sometimes I try cutting on calories😋😋 but trust me that dollop of butter/cream will make this parantha taste like heaven. To make it just take some cornmeal.Grate some radish add salt, redchilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, chopped green chillies, radish leaves(they really add a wonderful flavour) and coriander.Mix all the ingredients with little amount of water.Make paranthas and enjoy🙂

We can’t believe the first week of our #cookingwithunusualingredients challenge is already over. It’s amazing to see sooo so many creative souls participating! All entries are beautiful and creative and made us very happy. You didn’t make it easy for us to pick one person only. This is why we spontaneously decided to feature 3 winners instead of only 1 - yaaayy, even better, right?! @danilicious2.0 @kaleidoscopic.kitchen and me are super thrilled to share the 1st week winners of our challenge:

    1. @lims_essbare_abenteuer made this delicious almond cookie cake filled with kumquat mousse, isabella grapes, rosmarin and raspberry baiser - I can imagine how the flavors come together and made your taste buds happy!

    2. This tuscan chestnut cake with raisins, rosemary and pine nuts came from @familygourmets - what a great combination!

    3. @83lene surprised us with a unusual mug cake made with sauerkraut - wuhuuu, that’s creative as hell!

Congratulations to all winners and thanks to all other lovely people for your entries!! If you missed the first week you still have the chance to participate the second week of our challenge. If you entered already, you are welcome to join the challenge again!
