  • My other #calatheawhitefusion that I’m trying to revive just unfurled some beautiful new leaves. 🌿 It looked TERRIBLE when I got it and I almost tossed it. So happy it’s turning around! 🖤🌱 #nevergiveup

  • HOW TO GET PINKER LEAVES!

One of the hottest plants of 2018 was the Philodendron Pink Princess! And by looking at a few photos of them - you can definitely see why. Their hot pink variegation gives them such striking foliage but if your plant doesn't have much pink then don't worry!

There are a few things you can do to promote the chances of your plant chucking out some hot pink leaves: - Brighter light! Keep them away from direct sunlight but give them the brightest indirect light you can
    - Chop and prop: If you have a section of your PPP that is producing pinker leaves, chop and propagate just that section. As it grows roots and establishes, there is a higher chance that your new more pink plant will continue to produce pinker leaves.
    - Well draining soil, a good watering system and being kept in good conditions all promote a healthier plant which in turn increases the chances of pinker leaves.

  • It has been so nice being pregnant during the winter, most nights are calm like this or curled up by the fire by 8pm. I have been taking baths regularly the past 6 months! A couple times a week, I use a magnesium/Epsom salt soak! It’s heavenly. And not to mention all the amazing benefits it has! If I even mention taking a bath, Daniel is filling up the tub, the sweetest man. He knows that a 20 min soak with a candle and some bubbles, is all it takes for me to feel like a new woman! Pregnant or not, best 20 mins you can give yourself ! If you ARE pregnant, magnesium has loads of benefits, from helping with leg cramps, bloat, sleep, preeclampsia, head aches and loads more ! 👌🏻
