  • Day 17.
    So in my 4 day rotation yesterday was supposed to be chest day, but with my golfers elbow flaring up I decided to give an extra day rest to my arms.
    But fck if you think imma take an entire day off from the gym. Get outta here with that!
    Core bbg!
    Even though it’s claimed “abs are made in the kitchen”
    I somewhat disagree. Abs become visible from how you perform in the kitchen. But if you don’t have solid, deep abs to show whats even the point?
    1️⃣Hanging leg raises. Take note that I’m NOT swinging my legs and utilizing momentum, just like how I’m lowering my legs slowly. Full control allows for a good pull on the muscle maximizing the efficiency of the exercise.
    If straight legs is too hard for you do it a a knee raise with your legs bent until you can do it straight legged.
    2️⃣Gliding crunches. Seriously, love this machine. I threw on a 30lb dumbbell to add a little extra resistance but tbh it’s not necessary.
    One mistake most people make on this machine is they focus on just sliding the pad up to their hands, swinging their body, using their arms etc.
    When doing this make sure to emphasize rounding your lower back into arching it. This is the only way for your abs to contract/extend.
    3️⃣Decline weighted sit-ups with a twist.
    The twist helps work obliques, don’t ignore your sides ladies/gents!
    4️⃣Ab rolls. If you try these definitely make sure you have a friend spotting you until you have enough core strength to go all the way to the floor and back up solo. I’ve seen a few people face plant and that didn’t look like a good time.
    5️⃣Oblique cable raises.
    These can be tricky. You must.. AND I MEAN MUST focus on not just throwing your hips side to side. You really have to think about contracting your obliques. This goes the same if you’re using dumbbells a well. The cable just adds a different kind of resistance
    6️⃣Scizzor kicks.
    4 second pause per rep
    7️⃣Heels to the heavens. (Stolen from p90x)
    8️⃣Russian twists with medicine ball.

  • Long post 💕....Do I post about or message people about my business a lot? I do but have you ever thought about the reason why I possibly do that?   • What is your WHY? What is the one thing that fuels your desire to want more out of life? ⠀

    They are MY answer. They are the reason I do what I do each day; to guide and support others to lead a stronger life. They do that for me. My accountability. ⠀

    So the mornings when I want to roll over and hit snooze or those moments when doing one more rep doesn’t seem possible, I Rise Up and think of them. They are the ones who activate my superpower: consistency. ⠀

    Those two are always watching and what would I be teaching them if I gave up when life became difficult? ⠀

    Without my WHY, I wouldn’t be able to help others with the HOW. ⠀

  • We had the best time in adelaide last week! Each time we travel I feel like the twins come back talking so much more!
    So cute having twins, they are 3 now so a different type of handful 🙈 but also a heart full ❤️ #mummyoftwins
    Ethan is very social & will talk to anyone we pass 🙉 & Chanel is a lot more reserved. Parenting isn’t easy but it sure is fun, tests you to all degrees 🙈you learn so much & suddenly don’t sweat the small stuff (probably coz you don’t have time for it😂) If you’re a first time mum, hang in there if you’re struggling or not sure - just do your best, you will get there😘💪🏼 #firsttimemum
    I’m so grateful I work from home & get to be around them so much.

  • First day back in the gym for a while. I have no real excuses here, I got sick last year for about 3 months and lost all motivation. I'm also currently in school for physical therapy, all that together gave me too much stress. So I decided to do what I know what works and work out! This is my journey back to fitness and also I want to share some PT things I learn along the way, stay tuned!
