  • When you RX plus a work out, you must post it on Instagram or didn’t happen right? .

    53pound Kettlebell is freakin huge ... One reason I love CrossFit, is because you can constantly see progress, I can remember when kettle bell swings at a 25 pound kettle bells was hard… I graduated to 35 pound kettle bells and was freaking excited… .
    .
    Being able to use a 53 pound kettle bell for American kettle bell swings really proves to me that I am getting stronger and fitter and it’s all because of CrossFit… .
    .
    Working out is sometimes mentally a head game, when you want to quit, most times it’s because your head is telling you it’s time to quit... but your body can physically go longer… This is why I love penalty workouts, it forces you to re-think your strategy… And in tonight’s case, hang on for dear life, LOL… But seriously, it forced me to push my body harder than my brain said to push…

    When you want to quit but Burpee’s are the penalty, you find a way to keep going .

  • I know a lot of you set a priority on losing belly fat🤰🏽and want abs so just letting you know you don’t have to obsess about doing “typical” core work all the time (looking at you crunches 👀).

    Because your core is so engaged in so many exercises, you’re getting the work in without targeting abs per se. Also, like I always say, you can’t target fat anywhere on your body 🎯 You have to burn fat in general so doing crunches everyday isn’t the answer anyway 🙅🏾‍♀️

    You're much better off doing varying exercises and working your entire body for belly fat. Not saying don’t do core exercises, just saying you don’t need to go crazy! 🙃
    .
    And exercises that target core and another body part give you double bang for your buck! In the case of springs and breaststrokes (these are pilates moves btw - and harder than they look!), you’re working core and back. Try them. Backless 👗 season is approaching after all 😉

    What is Snatch Sessions? Sum up below... I’m a personal trainer! It’s expensive (hundreds/thousands💰). 100% worth it, but most people just can't afford it. I’ve decided to offer my training for in-person clients on a larger scale:

    Via a monthly personal training subscription service. Not only workouts (in usual list form and/or individual demonstration videos), but FULL recordings of me doing the ENTIRE routine with you! So I can instruct on form, give you info on what's going on, why we're doing certain things a certain way - all while it's happening!
