    The truth about extreme bodies
    I write about this quite a lot in a round about way. Probably because it’s relevant daily. Clients that want the elusive 6 pack, a smaller waist, bigger shoulders .... The truth is that unless you’re one of those genetically gifted w!?kers we see on the gram 🤪 Eating donuts whilst flashing their abs of steel - you are going to have to sacrifice a lot to look like that.
    To drop a kg when you’re already slim takes a lot of work! I talk from experience when I say there’s no half measure. There’s no half tracking, half measuring, half arsed effort in the cardio I set you.
    The questions should be - Why do you want to look like that? If it’s for a competition it goes without saying you have to be extreme. If it’s for a personal challenge - cool. YOU STILL HAVE TO BE EXTREME. If it’s cos abs look cool - maybe that’s not enough of a reason for you to get your head down and sacrifice enough to get them!
    My job? To inspire and motivate - I try to do this. But it comes with sacrifice.
    If you want this ‘look’ prepare to be a little uncomfortable. A lot uncomfortable. To be disciplined even when you’re tired. To remain focussed even when your world is chaotic. You need to be the calm in the storm. This kind of focus is rare. But it’s the key to extreme results and bodies.
    The beauty of my job? I can help everyone. From abs to feeling bloody good on a beach. It’s up to you to pick your end result. I’m here to steer that!
    But before you see someone on insta looking Abtastic eating burgers and chocolate cake and then you think ‘that’ll be easy’ - it’s not!! Beware of some BS out there! Even salt looks like sugar!

  • It's a beautiful day to be alive. Leg and butt workout done. Walking into the weekend like. .. wooooo! So happy to be home.. to food and family 💕
    SIMPLICITY makes me happy :) I had a moment when I lost touch with the why.
    Why I choose to workout? Why do I go to the temple?... Why do I stick to the diet plan 6 days a week? .... It saved me, both physically and mentally.
    Today, I catch myself thinking about what more I can do rather than progress I've made. It is still simply to be the best version of yourself.

    Что нужнее всего в жизни?
    Деньги?
    Власть?
    Счастье?
    Любовь?
    Всё становится ненужным, если нет ЗДОРОВЬЯ.
    Я подписана на многие профили онкобольных. Некоторых из них,красивых и молодых, умных и перспективных уже нет в живых. А скольких талантливых небожителей унесла эта страшная напасть 21 века.. Уход Дмитрия Хворостовского я до сих принять не могу.. А сколько их всего, тысячи людей... А дети. За что с ними так, за что. Никто никогда не ответить.
    Самое страшное, что это та самая болезнь, на котороой фармакологические компании и клиники зарабатывают сумасшедшие деньги и, кто знает, может им совсем не выгодно найти лекарство..просто бизнес.
    Да,мой пост с самого утра грустный, но так я хотела сказать Вам, что 22 февраля в 19:00 под эгидой благотворителей организации @centrpora ,ребят, которые делают огромное благое дело для помощи онкобольным и взрослым, и детям, состоится благотворительный ужин, на который мы идем.
    Давайте и Вы с нами???
    Мы можем и должны помочь рублем.
    P.S. пожалуйста, не надо в комментариях писать про государство. Мы с вами и есть государство.

  • Supercompensation!
    .
    When you train, you fatigue/damage your body. If you then allow your body enough time to recover, it will supercompensate, essentially making itself stronger/fitter, to be better able to deal with the stress you placed on it, should it have to deal with it again!
    .
    The idea is to then train again, after the body has supercompensated. This time you will be able to place a slightly higher level of stress on the body than what you previously did (eg lift more weight, run further/faster, do more reps, etc.). Then you allow it to recover again and this process of supercompensation continues.
    .
    You need to make sure you allow your body adequate time to recover, to allow supercompensation to occur. If you train and fatigue your body, then train again whilst you’re still in a fatigued state, you will continue to drag your body into an even more fatigued state. This is why recovery is so important, sometimes rest is required, but more often than not, the better option is active recovery, eg SMR/mobility work, light aerobic exercise, hot/cold modalities, etc.
    .
    You also need to make sure you continue to train, if you stop training, the body won’t just remain in a supercompensated state, it will eventually return back to where it started! This is why consistency is everything!
    .
    Understand the importance of recovery and consistency, allowing your body adequate time to adapt and being consistent with your training are 2 major keys to getting stronger/fitter!
