  • I injured my knee couple of months ago (in a really dumb way 😒😝) since I can't walk much I've been reading, painting, playing guitar, uke, writing songs, and even playing sudoku! Time to learn stuff, time to process, time to plan, and time to do nothing! Resting my leg, enriching my mind & enjoying my meditations! 🎵🌵

  • .💚T A N G L E D 💚 Meditation and Mindfulness and Yoga💚
    . . .I was reading about the fine line that separates Meditation and Mindfulness. I liked this definition: “Mindfulness is a type of meditation, alongside tantra, yoga, sexuality, silence, breathing, and emptiness.”
    . .I liked it because it embraces a blend of disciplines which is how I approach meditation :
    * I teach yoga as dynamic meditation. (I also “live” yoga, which is to say I try to brings concepts from yoga into my daily life, rather than restricting it to the mat), * I deliberately meditate every day, and * I practice mindfulness every day as much as I can! .
    . These 3 practices are the best therapies for the anxiety which I am very prone to.
    . . As practitioner of these 3 “disciplines” my humble view is they are different roads to reach Rome. A blended approach of all three works best for me, and I suspect the same is true for most people.
    . . While I don’t regard there to be a competition between these three, it won’t surprise you that as a yoga teacher I recommend yoga as the best way to reach enlightement or maybe just a happy healthy life :P I’ll tell you why.

    .It’s because yoga integrates the other two disciplines, with the added powerful benefit that using the body makes it easier to materialise concepts like awareness, integrity, self respect, equanimity, etc.
    .
    . Most of all I believe that including our body as part of the journey is very handy to anchor the mind to “here and now”. Just like our breath, we carry it everywhere! . . So I am happy to report that if you practice yoga you are already on the path of meditation and mindfulness. .
    .My final thought is that each of these disciplines and approaches is an immense gift for mental wellness and happiness. In a world where we have everything we need and much more, it is so important learn to enjoy it! .

    Около 200 студентов из Индонезии вместе с 29 преподавателями и сотрудниками из колледжа Альджабар ощутили энергетическое поле при выполнении упражнений Фалуньгун на семинаре, проводимом местными практикующими 12 сентября 2015 года.
    Многие члены колледжа сказали, что почувствовали,как их окружают теплые энергетические поля, электрический ток которых течет через руки и ноги.
    Директор поблагодарил практикующих за бесплатный семинар. «Это не только полезно для физического состояния, но также помогает улучшить нравственность», - сказал он.
