  • Holy Guacamole it is raining cats and dogs here in Nashville! Speaking of dogs, it is #loveyourpetday today! 🐶 So, I shall celebrate our pup in hopes that she will check her @instagram later...

    - lower our blood pressure and improve our overall cardiovascular health
    - help us reach our weekly recommended activity through walks, 💩 breaks, etc.
    - increase our Vitamin D by getting us outside
    - improve our social lives through meeting other peeps during aforementioned walks
    - provide strong companionship/improve our emotional wellbeing
    - can ease symptoms of depression and anxiety

  • When you think about your ideal life and health, how does that look for you? How do you want to feel on an every day basis?
    My coach asked me these questions during one of our sessions, and I’ll never forget how hard it hit me that the way I was actually feeling and living on a daily basis, wasn’t even close to how I wanted to live and feel.

    I wanted to feel calm, but I was living rushed.
    I wanted to feel energetic, but I was running myself into the ground.
    I wanted to feel confident, but I was constantly beating myself up.
    I wanted to feel healthy and strong, but I was putting everything else before my own workouts and meal planning.
    I wanted to be successful, but I was too busy comparing myself to others instead of putting my head down and working on my own business.

    There’s often a disconnect between where we ultimately want to be and where we are starting out. Sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom before we wake up and make a change. But sometimes it simply takes someone who cares about you holding up a mirror so you can become aware and choose to pivot. I’ll take the second option, thank you v much! 🙋🏻‍♀️🙏🏼 This is why having other people is crucial.
    It’s also crucial to know where you want to go and how you want to feel. If you don’t have an end destination, there’s no telling where you’ll end up.

    I created the perfect day exercise for this reason. To hold up a mirror, help you get specific and define your ideal day, so you can see the difference between where you are right now and where you really want to be. That way, you can start to make small, impactful changes to get you to that dream life of yours. It’s possible! 🙌🏼💛 It just takes some intentionality, self-discipline, and consistency.
