  • My talent in life is making mediocre frozen pizza taste delicious. I had this @daiyafoods cheese lovers pizza slowly collecting freezer burn in my freezer and figured it was time to eat it; I don’t know how I ended up w/ this because it’s the only daiya pizza I hate. Anyways, I made it edible by adding my homemade cashew parm (swipe for recipe), @gardein beefless crumble and smothering each slice in homemade ranch dip (swipe for recipe), it ended up being amazing after my tweaks ✨

  • There’s something about baking... I’m not exactly sure what it is but for me, it’s therapeutic. It’s always come naturally, more so than cooking. Maybe it’s because I came out of the womb craving chocolate - the desire to make and eat all things dessert-like is in my dna. Funnily enough, I don’t end up eating much of what I bake. I give it to my friends, family and coworkers. Everyone needs a little comfort... and gifting healthy, delicious treats to my loved-ones is just as comforting for me. I put love into my tasty creations and it brings me joy to see the looks on people’s faces when they discover that what they’ve just eaten is guilt-free. And when I do get those crazy sweet cravings, I’m glad I have something to satisfy me without undoing my time in the gym just 10-15 minutes away. PRO-tip: keep the following on-hand: cocoa powder, nut butter, coconut oil, oats, protein-powder of choice (plant-based can get tricky with baking) and DO NOT toss overripe bananas! Either substitute them for oil in baking or freeze them to make healthy ice-cream. I used bananas for both of these muffins and from start to finish they took 20 minutes. They are both egg-less, flour-less and dairy-free. If you want a recipe you’re out of luck. I embrace the... a little of this, a little of that policy and 95% of the time the result is not just edible but delectable. Maybe one day I’ll write an e-book of recipes.
