  • The Kruger Park - We visited Kruger twice during each stint in South Africa. One trip we did with family and the other we did as a couple. It is really incredible. Stretched over almost 2 million hectares of land, it has been equated in size to the country of Israel! Kruger caters for all wilderness experiences, rustic camping to luxury bushveld retreats. We stayed in pretoriuskop which is one of the oldest camps apparently. For one night it was a couple of hundred rand for a two bed hut. Our hut had a sink and dressing table. Bathrooms are communal, so showering is always fun. Giant bugs, and mongoose! There is also an outdoor pool which is set in a rock face. I would recommend the morning or dusk safari and also self drive following a map. There are around 21 camps and some rest stops and viewpoints. Buy a map upon entry and follow it on a self drive. Do a safari for the experience. If you go in the morning don’t be a dope like me and wear shorts and a vest, it is FREEZING. Wrap up warm. Dawn and dusk will bring a lot of animal activity especially if you want to see lions on the prowl. Buy an action cam if you want to invest and document. Good quality camera equipment is definitely a must have as they can take good quality pictures from afar, some animals will only be spotted at a distance and phone cameras won’t cut it. Bring food, wine and a large torch! Bug repellent, sun cream high factor, and a hoody or jacket for dawn safari. Some blankets and perhaps camp chairs would also be useful. There are braai facilities at the camps so cooking al fresco is the norm! You will not regret this experience, it is life changing to watch animals thrive uninhibited by people. #krugernationalpark #safari #krugerthroughmyeyes #krugersightings #pretoriuskop #animallover #wildlifephotography #wildlife #conservation #naturephotography #nature #travelgram #travelblog #couplesthattravel #outdoorsygirl #blueskies #traveltips #roadtrip #camping #campinghacks #greaterkruger #animalkingdom #enjoynature #getoutdoors #beauty #naturelover

  • The Big Five (5/5): Leão. 🙏🏻🎄🎆 #southafrica #krugernationalpark #safari #wildlife #pretoriuskop

  • The Big Five (4/5): Leopardo.

#southafrica #buffalo #wildlife #safari #krugernationalpark #pretoriuskop
