  • Be kind to yourself. Buy yourself flowers. Forgive, learn and grow. Release that anger. Be kinder to your body. Just focus on you. Currently trying to unlearn bad habits like gossiping, imparting judgement on others, and hitting the snooze button. Are there any bad habits you’re trying to get rid of?

  • ‘Creativity is not a competition’

I used to look at other people’s work and feel inspired to do more within my own. Somehow to look upon others work started to have an adverse effect on me as I was going through a period of substantial self doubt. I either looked at what others had created and thought, ‘there’s no point in me trying, I cannot meet that standard’, or, ‘maybe I should do things a little more like they do.’ But I have realised, that somewhere within my 10 year journey as a photographer, I lost myself a little and I lost my passion, not through a lack of love for my craft, but perhaps it’s a lack of love for myself, so I’m throwing self doubt into the fire and watching it burn 🔥 .

No one is you, and that is your power. Goodnight 🌙

  • The Lion Monument of Lucerne, commemorating the Swiss guards who were massacred during the French Revolution in 1792. I was blown away by the detail of the sculpture, expecting a small statue, but it was actually carved into the rock and was much larger than I was expecting.

  • Sometimes when I look in the mirror I do not even recognize myself. It's not that I look completely different but it is the way in which I see myself and how I feel that has changed. I feel so much healthier, confident, energized, happier, and proud. I am proud that I have stuck with my commitment to be healthier. I hope whatever journey you are on that you will be able to see yourself in the mirror through refreshed eyes. Treat yourself with kindness. Tell yourself you are beautiful and you are proud. Tell yourself that everyday. Eventually the way you see yourself will change too. I hope for the better.
