    There are hundreds of tips to training but one of the best I have found is simple.... Train to get Stronger!
    ⠀⠀
    So many people starting out in fitness get confused by all these tips people are telling them, like do drop sets, superset exercises, do circuits, only lift in the 8-12 rep range, only do compound exercises, the list goes on. I’m not saying they don’t have their place in peoples training plans but however the number one thing everyone should be doing in the gym is trying to get stronger over time.

    Say you start in the gym and can only do a 40kg bench press for 5 reps, work on getting stronger, NOT adding in drop sets, super sets and 15 other chest exercises. Getting stronger on the basics will have the biggest impact on your physique and achieving the body you want.

    Get your bench stronger by doing more reps with 40kg in your next workout and even more the next, then over time add more weight to the bar, if you can do 40kg for 10 reps up the weight a little, the increase in weight will bring your reps down, then work up to 10 reps again with your new weight, which could be as little as 42.5kg. Only a 2.5kg improvement but it’s still improvement.

    All these little improvements in weight will add up over time and you will be blown away by how you look this time next year.

    So your main focus should be on getting stronger and the rest will start to fall into place.
