  • this must be one off the best boulders anywhere!!! on one side (pic 1) you can find the iconic @fred_nicole milestone #dreamtime , 8C; still one of the very best lines ever - cant get (much) better 💎💎💎💎💎.
    .
i was really close to send already 10years ago; but then it broke and got much harder (for me). still can’t do the jump in the middle anymore; still trying though - its just too good to not try - you never know!!! and its good to have another #project in some opposite style then your current one - which happens to be just right around the corner!!!
    .
and there (pic2) you can find @dave_graham_ s #masterpiece #storyoftwoworlds ,8C... a totally unique granite feature (the sds to @tonilamprecht71 s the „dagger“) offering some very tricky and powerful compression/roof climbing. its sds rejected me 10years ago but i kept trying (cause you never know!!!) and thanks to some new beta (thanks a lot @sebastiancotting!!!) and some serious microbeta-challenges the sit now goes and the door seems wide open; still very hard for me though; #fitness has to and will improve!!! .
    .
    .
on a sidenote; some people (in the climbing community) think its lame to post pictures from boulders/climbs you did not send yet. but i think in the total opposite direction; the most interesting thing for me is the process when something impossible becomes (suddenly) possible. the result on the other hand becomes secondary to me. thats why i like to share the process. i think its lame to just show (off) with results... ;)

  • Snatch deficit deadlifts are one of my nightmares 😜
It works traps, upper back, hamstrings and glutes
I improved my performance since I started by paying attention to a few things: 👉🏼Because of the wide grip it is important to keep the upper back rigid and intact 👉🏼Master the technique before increasing the weight (if you increase the weight before the technique the upper back will fail and eventually cause injury) 👉🏼It’s fine to use straps ( I have been using straps in my deadlifts) but if you can do without it, go forward 🙌🏼 👉🏼keep the bar as close to you as possible, shoulder blades above the bar and feet under. 👉🏼To lift- imagine try to pulling the bar apart with your hands, lock your elbows and keep the upper back tight
Last but not least practicing makes you better than yesterday 😉
