Like most of us, we were all introduced to Green Day at a young age, whether it be from Dookie or American Idiot. My brother gave me the International Superhits album when I was 7 or 8 and I was hooked immediately, and when I heard American Idiot not long after that, I fell in love. After listening to Green Day for many years I found out they put out music prior to Dookie that was also great, I remember using Limewire to try and find each track from 39 Smooth and Kerplunk but could never find them all. This record is a flawless performance of almost all of the songs from both of those albums so this will do. This record isn’t actually mine, my friend bought it off of a street vendor in London, England and let me borrow it a while back and just hasn’t asked for it back. I haven’t been into Green Day in very many years, but it’s great to finally (temporarily) have a physical copy of these songs and I do enjoy spinning this from time to time.
