This beautiful precision watchmaker's micrometer belongs to @active_atom a really cool watchmaking and micromachining studio in southern California's toasty Yucca Valley (yeah, it gets hot there ;). The micrometer is as cool as they come - look at the beautiful designs of the dial... The interior opening has another permanent hand that indicates the larger millimeter travel. who identified it as a R. Mühle & Sohn, Glashütte micrometer... We now know why it's got such a cool design ;) love the fact that it's got 'Echt' inscribed on the right side, that's 'true' or 'real'... Meaning you're getting the real deal when measuring with this instrument!
