Honestly I only posed like this because it forced my tiny amount of muscle to surface! I'm not completely out of Hong Kong photos, I just don't have any more saved to my phone right now.
I had a wonderful weekend full of Siege things. I don't typically play on test server so I'll wait until everything goes live and the quick fixes are the place! Besides, I have too many games on my list right now 🙈 I'm still having great fun with The Division! I think I'm only halfway through the story though... My own fault, I like to do all the things 😅 what are you playing right now?
I was invited to do some secret things at the Ubisoft offices yesterday so basically I spent the day fangirling 😄! They make all my favourite games; Siege, Far Cry, and now The Division. Incidentally, this is my stream schedule for the next month too 😂 I also left with a really cool goodie box (unboxing video on my Twitch channel)!!
Today we're heading over to Loading Bar in Stratford to watch the Six Invitational Semi-finals . If you're in the area, definitely come check it out!
Good morning! I feel terrible. Honestly I think I'm having a bad reaction to the two vaccines I had on Wednesday 😣 my arms still feel bruised too!
Despite feeling bad, I still managed to stream a little bit yesterday! I already said I would and I want to get back to normality instead of laying in bed feeling sorry for myself. I'm enjoying The Division so much, I'll likely miss out on the beta because I'm still only about halfway through the first ☺️
You may have already seen this on Twitter but I'm breaking up the Hong Kong spam with some cute selfies ☺️
Now, before I get into things, I'm aware this isn't techwear. However, I've been super into that style for a few months now but too scared to spend the money on items that might not even suit me. This is the closest styled look that's purely aesthetic to see if I suit this sort of thing. I like it but I don't have a good shell so I'm still not sure!
The idea of being dry, warm, AND having loads of pockets is very appealing to me. Plus girls in techwear look 👌
I want to do a few more looks like this so humour me 😇
I GOT BLACKPINK TICKETS 😁 really good obtained too! Oh god, I'm going to see all my favourite groups except Red Velvet aren't I 🙈 I know BP don't even have enough songs to fill out a concert but I can't wait to see the special stages... And Lisa's dancing... Waking up early on a Saturday was worth it!
This was supposed to be a stream weekend but, after having the worst back pain and headache yesterday, I've found I have too much work to do. If I can get it all done, I'll stream 🙂 more of The Division because honestly that game is so good! I've allowed myself a few little sessions as rewards over the past couple days. I wish I knew sooner how much I'd enjoy it!
My take on Montane Mansions, a housing estate in the East of Hong Kong Island. You might recognise it from Transformers or Ghost in the Shell.
I think it's very beautiful, in its own way. It's interesting and intricate. There's something nice about standing next to tall buildings, I find it only amplifies when I'm surrounded by them. I loved the architecture in Hong Kong, it seemed as busy as the city itself!
I took this shot by placing my camera on the floor and using the Sony app. I was terrified someone would come and tell me off for taking photos 🙈 unfortunately, photos taken via the app are jpg so I was fairly limited in what I could do. I think I did a good job though! At least I'm happy with it ☺️
I have seen many pictures of these specific signs in Hong Kong! I hope you enjoy my take on them. It's like someone switched my Instagram feed to night mode and I'm not complaining.
Do you think it's going to snow today? I believe there is a yellow warning between midday and tomorrow. It's definitely very chilly! I've only seen sleet and extreme hailstone this year so far.
Personally, I'd rather it didn't. London is not capable of dealing with weather that we don't typically get. Can't be dealing with other countries telling us "it's not that bad" when we can't get to work and there's not much we can do about it.
My body is trolling me. I spent all weekend limping around, having to be covered in deep heat to even walk anywhere, then Monday morning it's back to normal?? 😑 So normal that I just had to run for my train... I missed it. The microwave clock being off by a minute didn't help when it's about a 1-2 min walk to the station 😭
Today I've had to get the Superdry jacket out. It's layers of warm and I try to only use it when I really need it. Boy is it cold in London 😣 In Hong Kong, I could walk around in a thin sweater.
I've got another 20 mins until my next train, how's your morning going?
The view of Hong Kong from Lugard Rd Lookout. I swear, every day in Hong Kong was smoggy and hazy except the day I was leaving. Fortunately it always cleared up by night! After taking some photos on the other side of the island, I headed over to the peak tram. 9-10pm is apparently a great time to head up! I got straight on the next tram. They're very busy during the day, you will be queuing for a long time.
The path to the lookout was poorly lit, often left in the dark 🙈 I'm not good with the dark! Every now and then I'd pass another person and feel safe again 🙂 I hadn't taken photos like this before on my new camera so I took the time to experiment and see what I could come up with! I'm very happy with the results 😄
I got a lot of love for this one on Twitter! I'm so thankful, this is the first time one of pictures did so well without being of a person! This was taken in Wan Chai, shortly after I arrived at my hotel. I was too excited to unpack or sleep, so I went exploring!
Despite being the seedy area, I felt incredibly safe wherever I went. Plus I'm scared of everything, so if I feel safe then it really must be safe! I took a lot of night photos 🙈 guess I was excited to edit ones taken with my new camera. Most came out pretty well, if I do say so myself ☺️
